Schedule: Full Time

Shift : Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm ; Class Starts January 27th, 2025 thru March 10th, 2025

Location: 80 BROWNSBERGER CIRCLE, Fletcher, 28732

The role youll contribute: Employee is hired to complete 6-week medical assistant program and will be required to pass NHA exam. This is a partnership with Blue Ridge Community College.

The value youll bring to the team

• Provide patient care in the office setting.
• Provide care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.
• Provide care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician.
• Maintain regulatory requirements, nursing and office policies, procedures and standards.
• Ability to assist nursing and medical staff with routine examinations and patient treatments. This includes neonate, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients and the general patient population.
• Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Must complete 6-week CMA course upon hire through AdventHealth Hendersonville and pass NHA exam at end of course.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
