Primarily responsible for the routine administrative and patient care supportive duties to assist medical and/or nursing staff in the examinations and treatment of patients and ensure the facility runs smoothly.Qualifications

Essential Functions
- Greet patients
- Verify information on patient medical records
- Assist Professional Nursing staff in a variety of tasks but not limited to:
- Taking medical histories and recording vital signs
- Explaining treatment procedures to patients
- Promote patient/family understanding of the educational content and his/her involvement in the plan of care, and document record
- Perform other clinical functions as delegated and supervised by the Professional Nurse
- Adheres to aseptic technique when opening sterile packages
- Assists in work area by cleaning area
- Assists in storing and stocking of supplies as directed and analyzes work area and make recommendations for potential cost-effective improvements
- Responds in a timely manner to meet the needs of the patient
- Document patient care records and other forms according to facility policies and procedures
- Accurately advises others responsible for care of the patient about the patient's status
- Assist in the discharge of patients following evaluation by Professional Nurses
