Job Description: Part-time instructor position to teach Medical Assisting courses including front office skills, clinical, pharmacology, and medical office lab skills for Highlands Career Institute students at SFSC's Highlands Campus (Avon Park). The Highlands Career Institute is a partnership between SFSC and the Highlands County School Board providing students the opportunity to earn their high school diplomas and work towards a vocational certificate (and possibly college credit) at the same time. Requirements: Must be a certified medical assistant, LPN or RN and have a minimum of 2 years' related experience. Additional Information: Typical work schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 3 pm Classification: Adjunct Faculty Instructional Supervisor: Dean, Health Sciences Posting Date: February 9, 2024 Pay Rate: With a Bachelor's degree or less $24.40/hr; with a Master's degree $28.30/hr; with a Master's + 30 (GSH) $29.50/hr; with a Doctorate $30.70/hr.
