About the Role

We are looking for a part-time Medical Biller (up to 28-hrs/wk) to join our Clinical Operations team with deep knowledge of the billing and claims process in Healthie and Candid EMR and EHR. This role will work closely with our Clinical and Finance team ensuring clear communication regarding billing claims, claims review, data reconciliations, and rejection management. You will be responsible for the administration and maintenance within our systems and that billing is executed in a timely and precise manner. This role will report to the Network Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Entering new contracts
• Reviewing all claims (Rejected, Error Codes, System identified issues, etc)
• Claim corrections (PHI, Plan information, Billing address for plan and provider, etc)
• Maintenance in Healthie and Candid including but not limited to updating providers, plans affiliations, credentialing spans, etc.
• To review and ensure accuracy of all billing information
• Verify Insurance benefits and eligibility as needed

About You

• Prior experience and technical proficiency with Healthie and Candid is required.
• Medical Billing and Coding experience is required.
• Experience billing MNT and correlating codes a plus.
• A self-starting mindset and high sense of ownership; you readily identify opportunities for improving existing ways of doing things.
• An ability to learn quickly and have a comfort with ambiguity and a faster pace of working.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary range for this role is $25-30/hr commensurate with experience
• Part-time role (up to 28hrs/wk) in a fully remote environment
