Medical Billing - Revenue Cycle - Demographic Update Intake Rep Location: Remote or On-Site Hourly Pay: $16 This position is bonus eligible Work Schedule: 40 hrs/wk, Sat and Sun 8-hour min shifts required, flex hours after training JOB SUMMARY The Medical Billing - Revenue Cycle- Demographic Update Intake Rep works with the Trip Intake Team to ensure that demographic information is correct, required forms are present, and all documents in clinical record pertain to the correct patient. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Verifies face sheet is received in clinical record. Verifies and adds or updates patient demographic information in Billing System. Verifies all documents in a patients' records belong to the correct patient. Assign account to next department, accurately. Ensure all accounts are worked appropriately to allow distribution to the floor in a timely manner. QUALIFICATIONS Required Experience: 6 months hospital/clinic admission experience or related education 6 months data entry experience Basic skills with Microsoft Excel including ability to use function for sums Experience with downloading documents from websites and accessing documents downloaded Preferred Experience: Ability to type description of steps taken into billing system Ability to gather data, compile information, and apply data entry steps accurately Preferred Education: High school diploma GED Or significant, relevant work experience Why Choose Air Evac Lifeteam?
