Meets individual quality and quantity performance goals and expectations. Assists the department in meeting performance goals. Imports, edits, corrects and transmits claims to third party payers on a daily basis. Prepares daily claims submission tracking and error reports. Assists in implementing billing system upgrades. Information and claim resolution and correction. REQUIREMENTS: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. A minimum of 1 year of account follow up experience in a multi-payer hospital setting required. Previous computer experience in a hospital or healthcare environment required. 1-3 years of experience with managed care and medicaid.
