POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Compliance Director, the Medical Compliance Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and quality improvement initiatives within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and in alignment with Kentucky Alcohol and Other Drug Entities (AODE) and Behavioral Health Services Organization (BHSO) guidelines for levels of care ranging from Outpatient to Residential. This position is responsible for conducting comprehensive chart audits, providing high-quality consultation and training across the continuum of care, and promoting the implementation of Evidence-Based Programming. The Medical Compliance Analyst collaborates with management and staff to communicate quality standards, tracks staff training and compliance, and serves as a subject matter expert on local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to substance use treatment. Additionally, the analyst actively participates in Quality Improvement and Policy Committees to drive continuous enhancement of organizational practices. RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid nursing license in Kentucky or a reciprocal state.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations related to FQHCs and AODE/BHSO regulations.
- Experience in quality improvement initiatives and compliance auditing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret clinical data and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support staff effectively.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and learning management systems.
- Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
- American Heart Association Instructor, BLS or above.
