The Medical Customer Service Representative is a primary contact for patients and healthcare providers who will address inquiries for medical services, billing, and insurance.
Location: Work from Home - All candidates must live in the Dallas – Fort Worth Area & have a designated work space at home.
Pay: $18-20/hr. based on experience

Schedule: 8 hour shift between 7am-7pm CST (8am-8pm EST)
Job Description:
Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email regarding medical services and billing.
Provide information to patients regarding medical services, insurance coverage, and payment options.
Collect and verify insurance information, ensuring eligibility and benefits are accurately documented.
Assist patients with payment plans and financial assistance options as needed.
Preferred skills/experience:
Typing – 30 wpm
One year of healthcare call center experience
Benefit verification - Prior Authorization
Medical collections
Prefer healthcare work experience and familiarity with medical benefits, medical insurance, prescriptions
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Co-pay, co-insurance, deductible
PAP - patient assistance programs
Education:
Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent
Criminal Background & Drug Screening
2 verifiable employment references
