Job Title: Medical Device Assembly TechnicianLocation: Guilford, CT (5x per week onsite)Pay Range: $16-22/hrDuration: 1 Month ContractDescription:We are looking for a skilled Medical Device Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing medical devices according to strict quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role demands a keen eye for detail, proficiency in assembly techniques, and a commitment to maintaining a sterile environment throughout the process.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble medical devices following detailed assembly procedures and specifications.
  • Conduct testing and inspection of devices to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sterility of work areas and equipment to prevent contamination.
  • Document assembly processes, test results, and any deviations from specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and peers to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly processes.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge of medical device assembly techniques.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures related to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality System Regulation (QSR) requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
