Our client in the medical device industry is seeking a Medical Device Product Engineer to join their team. As a Medical Device Product Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting medical device projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and have experience in the medical device industry.

Location: San Antonio, TX

Pay Range: $30 to $38 per hour w-2 depending upon experience?Duration: 12 month contract?

What's the Job?

  • Lead design efforts under the guidance of Senior Engineers on design change initiatives.
  • Oversee execution of project deliverables as assigned.
  • Interface with various departments (locally and internationally) to drive projects forward.
  • Work with the department to create testing protocols and verification documentation as part of a product design change.
  • Create specifications for device components, assemblies, packaging, and labeling.

What's Needed?

  • Requires a bachelor's degree?
  • 3 years of experience in the Medical Device industry.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent understanding of fundamental mechanical principles.
  • Experience with MS office products
