Medical Director AssistantLocation: Silver Springs Office - Cape Girardeau, MO - This is an on-site position.Full Time, Non-Exempt: Typical work hours are 8a-4:30p M-F. Evening hours may be needed dependent upon agency need.Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or HSE required
  • Two years of experience working in a medical office is required, with four years of specific medical experience preferred.
  • Previous mental health experience preferred.
  • Must be able to become certified in CPR/First Aide
  • Must have a valid driver's license for current State of residence, meet agency MVR standards, and must provide and maintain continuous auto insurance.
Base Pay: $15/hourAbout this position:As the Medical Director Assistant, you would be responsible for assisting the Medical Director with tracking, data collection, and coordinating activities related to the agency's medical department,What your duties would look like as the Medical Director Assistant:1. Monitor Medical Director email and mail when offsite to assist with coordinating immediate response needs.2. Assist with developing training schedule for new providers under the supervision of the Medical Director.3. Assist with training new providers on the agency's electronic medical record.4. Assist with written changes to medical policies and procedures at the direction of the Medical Director.5. Develop Physician/APN/NP monthly on-call rotation schedule and distribute to appropriate personnel.6. Collect and track Collaborative Provider chart reviews for APN/NP practitioners.7. Track and provide data to Medical Director regarding provider schedules, no show rate, wait times, etc.8. Assist with tracking and reporting data for the purpose of monitoring efficiency and effectiveness of medicalservices.9. Identify and coordinate with Medical Director regarding tasks during remote work.10. Work closely with Nursing Director(s), Chief Operating Officer, Clinical Director, and other management level staffon non-routine tasks assigned.11. Review and process outside requests for psychiatric providers to ensure requests meet legal standards, agencyprotocol, appropriate authorizations or releases/requests of information are in place.If you are a compassionate individual who enjoys multitasking, client care, organization, and working within a team in a quick-paced environment, you are encouraged to apply!
