Assistant/Associate Professor: The Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time family medicine physician and leader. We offer exciting opportunities for scholarly activities, research and mentorship.
This position offers unique opportunity for an active clinician interested in leadership and program management.
Our practice operates in a busy academic/teaching environment taking pride in serving a diverse population in an urban setting. The Director of Campus Health will oversee care rendered by faculty and Advanced Level Practitioners to the University of Maryland Baltimore student body, campus staff and their families. Integral to this position is teaching and supervision of residents in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. We are committed to reducing health disparities through education, inclusive patient experiences, and the advancement of equity and social justice initiatives.
Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Family Medicine and eligible for an unrestricted license in the State of Maryland. This position requires a medical degree from recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent), strong commitment to patient care and teaching, and the ability to work well in a team-setting.
