The Front Desk Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Answer phones with courtesy and professionalism
- Opening of clinic and greeting patients ensuring patient hospitality and cleanliness
- Providing comfort care to patients and significant other(s)
- Schedule follow-up appointments for patients face-to-face, via phone, and document in medical record
- Assuring cleanliness of front desk and lobby
- Patient flow coordination with all members of multidisciplinary team
- Maintain filing of patient records
- Proficient computer manageability for scheduling, changing or canceling appointments and required documentation
- Perform daily financial summary and balance of payments received
- Ordering, organizing and stocking of educational materials
- Collaboration with all members of the team to enhance patient experience and continuity of care
- Assisting the team in ensuring accountability of treatment program and patient compliance
- Assuring compliance with HIPPA and CFR 42 part 2 regulations
