Job Summary

Responsible for the expeditious and accurate performance and reporting of clinical laboratory tests, record keeping, preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and procedures.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and completion of NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program, or a Bachelors degree and one to two years of experience/training acceptable to the ASCP or AMT for the Medical Laboratory Scientist required.

Certification, Licensure, Registration

• Certification from a National Credentialing Agency (NCA) or American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification preferred.

Work Schedule

• Part Time; 50 hours every two weeks
• 10 hour weekday shifts 6:30 am - 5:00 pm; On Call one weekday overnight
• Every 5th Weekend/Call Time Rotation from Friday 5pm - Monday 6:30 am; Every 5th Holiday Rotation

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $27.50 - $41.50 per hour
