Operating within a highly regulatory environment, you will contribute to Vitalant's life saving mission by performing laboratory testing for high complexity blood bank testing and supporting laboratory team members and hospital partners to provide the best care for patients. What to Expect: Location:Washington Hospital, PA and Wheeling WVA hospital. Perform moderate complexity testing including CMV, Hgb S testing, and operation of a cell counter. Perform high complexity testing including Antigen screens, antibody ID, and cross match. Manage the labeling of routine and special components and review criteria to determine product acceptability. Assist in reconciling reports.#LABSTFRequirements Associates degree in laboratory science, medical laboratory technology required. MLT certification required or qualification for CLIA High Complexity required. One year of laboratory experience required or M LT certification required without lab experience.
