Job Title: Medical Laboratory ScientistLocation: Shelton, CTDuration: 4-month ContractWork Type: OnsitePay Range: $30 - $40/HrShift/Time Zone: Tuesday thru Saturday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.About the Job:We're seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team in Shelton, CT. This is a 4-month contract position requiring onsite work. As a bench-level scientist, you'll play a crucial role in processing patient samples and ensuring accurate results.Key Responsibilities:Process patient specimens according to laboratory proceduresPerform test analyses and report results accuratelyMaintain detailed records of patient test resultsAdhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelinesImplement quality control measures and document all activitiesIdentify and resolve issues affecting test performance or reportingCommunicate effectively with colleagues and clientsParticipate in training and development programsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or related fieldAssociate's degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology may be consideredNational certification as an MT/MLT (ASCP or AMT) preferred1+ years of clinical laboratory experience in high-complexity testingStrong understanding of laboratory testing procedures and quality controlProficiency in computer skills and laboratory information systemsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsBenefits:Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout The Company:Leading provider of diagnostic information services empowering healthier lives.
