MLS/MT provides information that is vital for a health care team to be able to diagnose, treat and manage patients' illnesses. As the MLS/MT the responsible to provide quality and timely pathology test and maintain quality control and preventative maintenance records. JOB REQUIREMENTS:KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Proficiently be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to work independently and be able to work effectively as a team member.
- Comprehensive knowledge of disease processes and laboratory diagnostic techniques.
- Proficient in laboratory information systems.
- Strong trouble shooting skills to identify and resolve issues with tests or equipment.
- Ability to produce/track accurate laboratory records and data.
- Commitment to quality control analysis.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to new methods, technologies, and changes within laboratory environment.
- Ability to analyze and interpret test results accurately.
- High level of precision to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling equipment/instruments.
- Knowledge of biology, chemistry, and mathematics.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or related field.
- 1-year general lab experience (nice to have).
- Current Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) licensure with ASCP or AMT or be willing to obtain.
- Must pass MN background check and fingerprinting.
- Complete TB test within the first 3 weeks of employment.

- Full-time
- Shift 7:00am - 5:00pm.
- Rotating call; nights, weekends and holidays.
- Nursing Home/Long-term care, clinic, Hospital setting.
