Job DescriptionProvides accurate, timely, and cost effective laboratory testing of patient samples to aid in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Provides technical expertise to Providence Alaska Medical Center and other institutions. Or education and training equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical or biological science with sufficient clinical laboratory experience on human specimens to meet Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) certification requirements through a nationally accrediting agency, e.g. American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or the American Medical Technologists (AMT) . National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology within 1 year of hire or National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology within 1 year of hire or National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts within 1 year of hire or National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologist within 1 year of hire or National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology within 1 year of hire.Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experienceWhy Join Providence?
