Job Title: Medical Laboratory TechnicianContract Duration: 12 MonthsPay range $38 - 40/hrJob Type: Onsite, Night ShiftLocation: Wayne, NJJob Description:Join our team and make a difference in patient care!As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate and timely diagnostic results. Your work will directly impact the health and well-being of patients.Key Responsibilities:Specimen Processing and Testing: Handle and process specimens, perform complex laboratory tests, and analyze results.Quality Assurance: Maintain strict adherence to quality control procedures, document results, and identify and resolve issues.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant regulations.Data Management: Accurately record and maintain patient data, test results, and quality control records.Customer Service: Interact with clients and other laboratory personnel to answer questions and provide excellent customer service.Qualifications:Education: BS in Medical Technology preferred, or BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, or Associate's degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology. Foreign-educated candidates must provide a detailed credential evaluation.Experience: 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in high-complexity testing preferred.Certifications: National certification as an MT/MLT from a recognized organization (ASCP or AMT).Technical Skills: Strong computer skills and knowledge of laboratory information systems.Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Schedule:Night Shift (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM), Friday through SundayBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageMedical, dental, and vision insurance401k retirement planAbout Us:Leading provider of diagnostic information services committed to improving patient health.
