Job Summary:Client Health requires all new hires to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Additionally, all new hires will undergo a drug screen, including nicotine, as Kettering Health is a nicotine-free organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform tests as ordered in assigned laboratory sections, which may include:
- Chemistry
- Hematology
- Transfusion Service
- Microbiology
- Work under general supervision while adhering to established protocols.
- Access coordinators or professional personnel for guidance as needed.
- Assist Clinical Laboratory Assistants (CLAs) and other technical team members.
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
Required Qualifications:- Associate's degree in Laboratory Science.
- Current Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification (ASCP).
- Credentialing through the Proficiency Examination administered under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (formerly Health, Education, and Welfare).
