Position Overview:

Pride Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Lab Technician (MLT) to join their team for a 13-week contract position. This role offers the flexibility of multiple shift options, with overnight call accommodations provided on-site. The ideal candidate will have experience performing laboratory analyses, evaluating and reporting results, and assisting with basic laboratory problem-solving. This is an excellent opportunity for an MLT seeking to contribute to a well-established healthcare facility in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Laboratory Analysis: Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently, ensuring reliable results.
• Result Evaluation: Evaluate laboratory results and communicate findings to healthcare providers.
• Problem-Solving: Recognize and solve basic laboratory issues, ensuring minimal disruption in workflow.
• System Maintenance: Assist in the upkeep and maintenance of laboratory equipment and systems.
• Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards within the lab environment.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure/Certification: ASCP certification as a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) is required.
• Travel Requirement: The permanent address of the traveler must be more than 50 miles away.
