Medical Malpractice/Personal Injury Partner Attorney Our legal team is committed to providing each client with quality counsel, innovative solutions, and personalized service. We are a vibrant, busy, and growing full-service law firm and are now seeking an experienced partner to work in our Medical Malpractice Department. Our partners are highly recognized advocates who have excelled in defending individuals and institutions in some of the most challenging venues. Successful Candidate: We are seeking a seasoned attorney with 7-10 years of experience in medical malpractice defense, including a proven track record of success in trials. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent oral and written communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service. Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Medical Malpractice Department.
  • Work closely with other partners to discuss case strategy, legal research, and trial preparation.
  • Handle a significant caseload of complex medical malpractice litigation from inception through trial.
  • Conduct and defend depositions, argue motions, and represent clients in court proceedings.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in New York.
  • 7-10 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation defense, with a focus on trials.
  • Proven track record of success in trial advocacy.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop junior attorneys.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
