Principle Responsibilities:

* Create diet plans for residents with significant health issues that require specific diet plans.

* Responsible for the communication of the resident's needs with the RTC Administration, medical, and treatment team.

* Provide training RTC staff to ensure compliance to may be necessary.

* Work closely with the Food Service staff to ensure superior quality and nutritional value of the food being served at the RTC and School

* Provide individual nutritional counseling with residents who are referred by the physician or other licensed practitioner of the healing arts acting within his or her scope of practice under State law.

* Provide training to staff in the area of Nutrition in regard to NY State Regulations as indicated.

* Other duties as assigned.

Special qualifications:

* RD, CDN, CN required

* Related experience required

* Master's Degree preferred
