How You Will Fulfill Your PotentialResponsibilities - Perform Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) treatment planning.
- Perform conventional 3D treatment planning.
- Perform weekly patient chart review.
- Participate in weekly chart rounds.
- Perform in-vivo dosimetry.
- Perform patient specific IMRT QA
- Perform second check of IMRT and conventional treatment plans.
- Perform manual calculation check on computerized treatment plan monitor unit.
- Perform monthly testing of all measurement equipment.
- Perform Low and High dose Rate treatment planning
QualificationsEducation/Accredited Programs - M.S. Radiological Sciences/Medical Physics.
- Minimum of three years of Medical Physicist experience.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations - Board certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics by the American Board of Radiology
- Professional License in Therapeutic Radiological Physics by the New York State Education Department.
Skills/Abilities - Requires an understanding of radiation physics, medical physics, radiobiology, accelerators, simulators, brachytherapy equipment, treatment planning systems and radiation safety.

Salary RangeThe expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $175,000 to $242,000 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
