  • Have a friendly and professional tone on the phone and when interacting with patients.
  • Answer the phones and schedule appointments.
  • Scan documents into the computer.
  • Verify insurances and check for referrals.
  • Submit prior authorizations for certain procedures.
  • Check patients in and out for their visit while verifying their demographic information.
  • Collect co-pays and balances from patients.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Reliable and prompt.
  • Computer skills and electronic medical records (EMR) experience required.
  • Reliable source of transportation.
  • Must like to multi-task and be a team player!
Job Type:
  • Full-time: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday.
  • Pay range starting at $21/hr
Experience:
  • Minimum 1-year experience working in customer service.
  • Medical receptionist experience is a plus!
