Description We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team in Newport, Rhode Island. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting guests, handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient information. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:- Greet and assist visitors in a timely and efficient manner- Handle inbound calls and take messages when necessary- Schedule appointments and update patient information in the system- Ensure the office and reception area is always clean and presentable- Utilize software such as NexGen, MS Word, and Outlook for various administrative tasks- Check in patients and assist with general office functions- Use skills such as Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, and EHR SYSTEM for specific tasks- Provide exemplary customer service and maintain a pleasant demeanor at the front desk- Ensure all customer inquiries are resolved in a timely manner- Monitor patient accounts and take appropriate action as needed Requirements - Proficiency in Cerner Technologies- Experience with Dentrix Dental Software- Familiarity with EHR SYSTEM- Excellent communication skills for answering inbound calls- Ability to check in patients efficiently- High School Diploma or equivalent- Previous experience in a medical office setting- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to handle confidential information- Strong customer service skills- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends if required.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
