Our organization is a leader in providing comprehensive healthcare services. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Remote Medical Records Specialist to join our team.

Position Overview: As a Remote Medical Records Specialist, you will be responsible for auditing medical records and imaging to ensure it meets quality guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage Medical Records: Organize, maintain, and update patient health records and databases.

+ Data Entry: Accurately input patient information into electronic health record (EHR) systems.

+ Audit Records: Conduct comprehensive audits of electronic health records (EHR) to ensure accuracy, compliance with regulations, and completeness.

+ Data Quality: Identify discrepancies and ensure that all patient information is accurate and up-to-date.

+ Report Findings: Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and recommend corrective actions.

+ Collaborate: Work closely with healthcare providers, coders, and administrative staff to resolve any discrepancies and ensure data integrity.

Requirements:

+ Experience: 1-2+ years of previous experience in medical records management or a related field.

+ Prior experience within EPIC.

+ Proven experience in a production-based role (data entry, claims, etc.)

+ Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Strong Computer skills

Details:

+ 100% remote - equipment is provided. Applicants must have strong internet and cannot work off hotspots.

+ Pay: $21 - $22/hr. based on related experience

+ Schedule (2nd shift): Monday - Friday | 3:00pm - 11:30pm (40 hours per week)

+ Although this position is remote, all applicants must be vaccinated for CV-19 due to the company policy.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00
