Job Description:

Our well established client is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to join their innovative and growing team that will be a part of identifying, developing and managing relationships with current and future healthcare professionals. Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years+ experience in a field medical role within the pharma/healthcare industry
  • Candidate must reside within the following states: CT, NJ, NY, MA, RI
  • Prior experience in a field MSL role with experience in customer management and HCP engagement
  • Clinical degree strongly preferred (PharmD, RN/NP, PA, RPh)
  • Up to 25% travel required

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to existing products inquiries upon customer request
  • Schedule appointments and meet with key contacts to foster peer-to-peer relationships
  • Develop and maintain customer/HCP/Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) relationships across the various customer segments
  • Clinical, Hospital/Institution, Academic, and Community setting
  • Identify new Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) or equivalent for customer engagement within each therapeutic area
  • Identify customers who are interested in research, collaboration, ad board participation, speaking engagements, etc.
  • Work in alignment with other functions including Medical Affairs, Market Access Leadership, Brand Leadership, State Government Affairs, and any additional key internal stakeholders to ensure execution of field medical strategies.
  • Support post-marketing clinical trials
  • Contribute to the development of tools and resources needed for customer engagements
  • Maintain a presence at major, relevant medical meetings and communicate important information back to the organization.
  • Identify regional/local meetings of interest in collaboration with key internal stakeholders
  • Collect and share insights to support strategy development across the Medical Affairs organization
  • Document all customer interactions in the compliance documentation database
