• Coordinate and manage the credentialing process for all medical staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and hospital policies.
• Process and maintain all required documentation for credentialing and re-credentialing.
• Provide support and guidance to medical staff throughout the credentialing and privileging process.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory guidelines related to healthcare credentialing.
• Collaborate with department leaders to monitor and ensure the maintenance of medical staff credentials.
• Maintain and update medical staff databases, including licensure, certifications, and training records.
• Provide reports and updates to medical staff leadership on credentialing status and compliance.

Candidate requirements

• High School Diploma/GED is required; Associate degree in healthcare is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience is required, with at least 1 year in Medical Staff Services and regulatory guidelines.
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) is strongly preferred.
