The MSO Specialist and Continuing Medical Education (CME) coordinator is divided into two jobs within the same role. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive dashboards, analyzing medical staff data, and generating detailed reports, as well as coordinating the CME program for the Medical Center.Roles and Responsibilities:* Analyze medical staff data to track performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), generating detailed reports for MSO leadership.* Suggest and implement improvements based on data analysis to enhance metrics and record-keeping.* Document data analysis processes and maintain accurate records of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.* Ensure Compliance with ACCME Standards: Understand and adhere to ACCME Standards for CME programs, including participation in monthly conference calls to stay updated.* Manage Activities (Live lectures & Regularly Scheduled Series): Complete all required activities, including tallying, PARS, Cactus attendance, pre and post-event work for live conferences.* Coordinate Conference Logistics: Assist in coordinating speakers, planners, and monitors for weekly conferences, create and distribute agenda packets and minutes for conferences and live lecturesRequired Skills and Experience:* Associate's degree and four to six years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in business administration, finance, or a related field.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.* Experience in analyzing, synthesizing, and compiling data effectively to prepare summaries, reports, presentations, dashboards, and other materials.* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, including the ability to manage projects and tasks, meet deadlines, juggle multiple priorities, and handle email traffic efficiently.* Professionalism and courtesy in interactions with senior leadership, providers, managers, administrative assistants, patients, and external contacts.* Ability to maintain confidentiality.Preferred Skills and Experience:* Bachelor's degree and/or prior experience with Medical Staff Services.* Experience using Cactus and/or MDStaff credentialing databases.* Knowledge of accrediting and regulatory requirements for healthcare organizationsPhysical Requirements:* sitting: 70%* standing: 30%* reaching: 80%* bending: 10%* lifting: must be able to lift 30 lbLocation and Travel Requirements:* Hybrid* Travel required one time annually to MSSNY ConferenceCompensation Disclosure:* $18.50 to $24.00 per hourCayuga Health System and its affiliates are committed to treating all patients, providers, staff and volunteers equitably and with dignity, ensuring the highest levels of safety, care and respect, and striving to recognize and overcome biases and policies that contribute to disparities in healthcare access, equitable care and positive health outcomes for all.We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer, supporting the growth and health of our employees and community by embracing the rich diversity, needs and circumstances of all peoples and prioritizing opportunities to build a diverse and inclusive workplace.
