Education : Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or completion of equivalent study in an approved program in professional.

General Description:

LPNs/LVNs regularly monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate, and oxygen levels.

They observe patients for signs of changes in condition, such as pain, swelling, or complications, and report findings to the RN or physician.

LPNs may conduct basic physical assessments, including checking for edema, auscultating lung sounds, or inspecting surgical wounds for signs of infection.

Education:

Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or completion of equivalent study in an approved program in professional.
