Description:Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technologist, Fulltime, Laboratory at St. Mary's Hospital, Athens GA - Monday - Friday, 8 hrs. - Dayshift - rotating weekends

Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technologist, Fulltime, Laboratory at St. Mary's Hospital, Athens GA

What you will do:

  • Under general supervision, performs qualitative and quantitative laboratory tests on patient specimens, according to established standards and practices.
  • Analyzes test results and prepares samples for testing. Is knowledgeable of the principles and clinical significance involved in test procedures and uses this expertise daily.
  • Demonstrates unit/area-designated competencies. Assesses competencies of peers and assists supervisor as needed.

What you will need:

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: MT or MLT
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: Prefer at least 1yr exp as Medical Technologist
