: Job Details :

Purpose: Perform moderate and high complexity testing in some or all areas of the Laboratory, including Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Serology, and Blood Bank. Medical Technologists key responsibilities include proper patient and specimen identification, adherence to testing policies and procedures, instrument use and troubleshooting, and computer functions.Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceField Of Study: Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical TechnologyLicensure/Registration: Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or categorical/specialist certification in a laboratory discipline from ASCP or certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) from HEW or AMT or completion of a Military training course as a Medical Laboratory Specialist.
