Position utilizes automation and computerization, and manual methods.Responsible for quality control and instrument operation, maintenance andtroubleshooting. Position handles blood, tissue, fecal matter, sputum, urine,spinal fluid and other body fluids. Specimens may be contaminated withinfectious diseases including HIV and other blood borne pathogens.**Minimum Qualifications:**Bachelors Degree (Required)ASCP - American Society for Clinical Pathology -American Society for Clinical PathologyAmerican Society for ClinicalPathologyAmerican Society for Clinical PathologyAmerican Society for ClinicalPathologyFour year Bachelor of Science Degree. Registered by the American Society ofClinical Pathologists. AMT Certification is considered equivalent to ASCP. Orcompletion of all required course work for Bachelor's degree and completion ofASCP Certification . Superior customer service skills.
