Who you are:As a Field Sales Representative for Medicare Advantage, you are passionate about the health and well-being of our members and prospective members. You are an empathetic, people person that is able to naturally build and maintain relationships to increase enrollment and provide an optimal member experience along the way. Your keen attention to detail and organization allows you to independently manage your calendar and resources.Note: Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be willing to drive to meetings/presentations across the service area.What you'll do:
  • Identify prospective Medicare-eligible members, conduct informational seminars, explain the features and benefits of the Johns Hopkins HealthCare products in the marketplace, enroll prospects into a product that best fits their needs, and provide follow-up services to ensure satisfaction.
  • Develop relationships with insurance brokers to coordinate regional beneficiary education opportunities and ensure an alternate stream for product enrollment.
  • Build and maintain relationships throughout the assigned territory in order to promote Medicare Advantage and other Johns Hopkins HealthCare products.
  • Conduct presentations and attend community events to promote Medicare Advantage in assigned territory
  • Regularly communicate with supervisor, community partners, other sales field representatives, brokers, and administrative team
  • Ensure all marketing and sales activities are in full compliance with CMS and Johns Hopkins' guidelines/standards
What you'll bring:
  • 1-2 years of relevant sales experience with a track record of success
    • Medicare product sales experience highly preferred
  • Must have or can qualify for an active Life and Health agent license for the state of Maryland. Must be able to become certified in Medicare Advantage sales annually
  • Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
