Provides personal care to Assisted Living residents by providing light housekeeping and maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of resident apartments, and resident's laundry. Assists with dining services.EducationMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GED. Nursing assistant or home health certification. Successful completion of medication administration training course and statewide standardized, written competency test. NJ medication assistant certification.ExperienceOne year of experience.Other CredentialsNew Jersey Certification for Medication Aide.AHA BLS. Non-Licensed must obtain before end of orientation periodKnowledge And SkillsExcellent customer service skills. Possesses a friendly demeanor. Has excellent bedside manner.Special TrainingTraining in multiple age populations. Proficient in Microsoft Office.Mental, Behavioral And Emotional AbilitiesGood critical thinking skills.
