Position Title: Medication Treatment Nurse / Primary Care Nurse (RN) Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Rotating Weekends
  • Day Shift, 6am-6:30pm
  • NOC Shift, 6pm-6:30am (Includes $5.00 NOC Differential)

Qualifications
  • Washington State RN License (Required)
  • CPR certification (Required)
  • Continuing education for gerontological and/or long-term care nursing preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Meets with nursing assistants to assess, plan, and evaluate resident's care.
  • Receives and records physicians' orders.
  • Provides feedback to Charge Nurse regarding performance of nursing assistants.
  • Receives/gives end of shift report to licensed staff and nursing assistants.
  • Assists in admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
  • Makes rounds with physicians and other team members as needed.
  • Assess residents
  • Participates in development, implementation, and evaluation of residents' care plans.
  • Prepares and administers medications as prescribed and identifies and promptly communicates adverse drug reactions.
  • Maintains narcotic records accurately and arranges for ordering of pharmaceuticals.
