Unit Highlights
As part of the critical care service line, our Intermediate Care Unit serves a variety ofcomplex medical and surgical patients that need frequent monitoring and nursing interventions. A 16-bed unit with the ability to expand to 20 beds, when necessary, the nursing staff working closely with Hospitalists and Critical Care Medicine providers to ensure timely and appropriate care of patients requiring various levels of high flow oxygen therapy as well as continuous IV Medications.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.
