Job Details Division: Nucor Steel Lexington Location: Lexington, NC, United States Other Available Locations: N/A Basic Job Functions: The role of the Utility is to meet and exceed all safety, operations and housekeeping expectations for the area. This includes but is not limited to safely operating mobile equipment. The role will assist with forklift movements, down day tasks and general housekeeping throughout the plant. It is also important to participate in all training and development programs. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications: - 1 year experience in a production environment
Preferred Qualifications: - Excellent attendance and safety record.
- Knowledge of basic machine functions.
