At Goldfish Swim School, the role of Member Experience Coordinator and Front Desk Representative are integral to delivering exceptional customer experiences and promoting the school's programs. The Member Experience Coordinator supports the Sales and Marketing team through various administrative and project management tasks aimed at enhancing the school's marketing efforts. The Front Desk Representative serves as the first point of contact for members and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. Ideal candidates possess strong communication and organizational skills, a high energy level, and a solid work ethic. They should be comfortable working with children and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment. Both roles are vital in creating a positive environment at Goldfish Swim School, contributing to the school's mission of teaching children to swim and promoting water safety.The typical hours for this role are weekdays between 2pm-8pm and weekends between 8am-3pm. Must work one weekend day consistently. This is a part-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Assistant General Manager and General Manager.Benefits:

Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service and Sales Support: Assisting with customer inquiries and contributing to sales initiatives.
  • Assist in directing daily operations to ensure the school runs according to GSS standard operating policies and procedures.
  • Social Media Engagement: Actively participating on social media platforms to boost the school's online presence.
  • Community Outreach: Identifying events, business-to-business opportunities, and other community engagement activities to promote the school.
  • Customer Experience Process Management: Compiling, creating, and refining front desk processes to improve efficiency.
  • Expense Organization: Managing and submitting marketing-related expenses.
  • Front Desk staff ensures high productivity, excellent performance, and positive employee and guest experience and satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot iClassPro account issues with the management team.
  • Offer customer service follow-up to upset members and provide 'in-the-moment' solutions for guests.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the AGM and assist in implementing action items from meetings.
  • Assist with the W.A.T.E.R. Safety Presentation program.
  • Responsible for the overall cleanliness at the front desk and the dry side of the facility.
  • Ensure the retail and vending areas are clean, professional, stocked, and labeled.
  • Must be available at least 3 days per week in the afternoons/evenings including one weekend day.
    • Experience working with children
    • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
    • Experience in grass-roots marketing
    • Demonstrated leadership experience
    • Must have weekend availability
    • Focused on extraordinary customer service, safety, quality, and team member development.
    • Must pass background examinations (included with training).
    A high school diploma or GED is required. Experience in customer service and grass-roots marketing is ideal.
