Consistent with Organizational Excellence standards the successful individual in this position will be responsible for providing ongoing coaching support to branch staff, ensuring operational guidelines are met to minimize credit union exposure and meet portfolio and production goals in support of the annual Credit Union Business Plan.
- Successfully manage a branch office ensuring to meet portfolio and loan production goals.
- Cultivate business relationships within the local business community via outbound calls, on site visits, volunteerism and attendance in local community events to drive business and generate business leads for branch growth portfolio.
- Successfully performing as a sales and referral coach to the sales staff by providing ongoing informal and formal sales techniques to include conducting on-job coaching, conducting effective sales meetings, coordinating promotions and other means, as applicable, in order to assist the branch in meeting its sales and referral goals.
- Ensure sound operation of the branch to include risk, security, quality standards, expense control and compliance to protect member accounts and minimize exposure.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in business management or related experience.
- A minimum of five years managerial experience in a sales and service industry.
- Excellent leadership and team building skills required, with a proven track record in sales and management skills.
- Proven track record of five years of successful sales, member service, compliance and branch operations.
- Experience in the origination and processing of commercial and consumer loans.
- Experience with productivity planning, budgeting and compliance issues desired.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Possess strong initiative and the ability to present a polished, professional image to the membership and community.
- Possess strong time management, analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong PC skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Exchange) required.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, which includes opening and closing the branch and working evenings and weekends
- Minimum three years of successful experience in business development required.
