The opportunity:

Parsley Health is looking for a Member Insurance Benefits Associate to join our team. The Member Insurance Benefits Associate will be focused on researching and communicating insurance benefits and eligibility information with members. This position will also be responsible for fielding all member questions related to insurance, EOBs, reimbursement processes, and medical billing.

What you'll do:

• Verify insurance benefits and check eligibility of all members.
• Proactively outreach members to communicate cost estimates based on their insurance coverage and benefits.
• Ensure patients understand the process for how out-of-network care works (when applicable).
• Identify trends or patient issues and initiate corrective action to improve the patient experience in terms of cost transparency.
• Resolve issues with patient invoices and alleviate confusion around any outstanding billing items.
• Manage protected health information and follow all HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Provide feedback and advice on product/technology/process improvements.

What you'll need:

• At least 2+ years in the health tech or medical field in a similar position (experience working in a startup environment is a bonus).
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information in a way that is easy for patients to understand.
• Comfortable in amorphous, fast-paced environments and with constantly evolving responsibilities.
• Tech-savvy skills: very comfortable adopting new technologies and platforms and efficient in tech-related tasks.

Parsley Health is committed to providing an equitable, fair and transparent compensation program for all employees. The starting salary for this role is between $55,250 - $65,000, depending on skills and experience.
