Our Schenectady, NY financial center is hiring!Business Hours: Monday & Tuesday 9am - 4:30pm, Wednesday 8am to 4:30pm, Thursday & Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm. Employees are scheduled 36-40 hours per week with rotating Saturdays off. Actual shift may vary based on branch opening/closing/balancing needs.* Training for this position will be at our Latham office.Starting pay, $21-24/hr based on experience.The primary purpose of this position is to provide legendary service to members by welcoming them to the financial center while providing information regarding our credit union services.
- Acts as a member liaison, supporting member convenience with all credit union technology available. Supports member transactions through use of Interactive Teller Machines as needed.
- Serves members by providing advanced consumer account information including IRA, Trust, Estate and Business accounts.
- Researches and solves member questions, problems, and complaints.
- Assist Management in maintaining our culture while achieving department sales goals. Conducts consumer account openings, secures required identification, explains all legal documents, and reviews documentation for accuracy.
- Achieves and maintains designation as Notary Public and provides notary services as requested.
Candidates should have a high school graduate/equivalent or higher with a minimum of one-year sales/customer service experience. Prior banking experience preferred. Ability to meet sales goals, strong attention to detail and communicate effectively.
