**Job Overview**

The Member Service Consultant supports the credit union by serving as the primary contact for member servicerequests coming in from Dupaco Employees, and assisting members, specifically employees and confidential status members with teller, member service and basic lending functions. Knowledge of managing a phone queue will be used to ensure that the member service consultants queue operates at required service levels.

**You Will:**

+ Open and process all deposit accounts that lead to long term, profitable and loyal relationships.

+ Excellent verbal and written skills enabling you to engage members via multiple channels including phone, email and video and meeting service level expectations.

+ Understand the technology that is available to the members and demonstrate how to use it.

+ Proficient and proactive in processing wire transfers both foreign and domestic.

+ Proactively able to process basic IRA transactions and clearly explain to members the features of the IRA products including Traditional, Roth and Health Savings Accounts.

+ Proficient and proactive in understanding of Sole Proprietor, Corporation, Partnership and Limited Liability Company business ownerships.

+ Can proficiently and proactively work with Rep Payees, Estates, Benefit and Memorial, Guardianship and Conservator and Trust Accounts.

+ Work cases in support of internal staff requesting documentation for ongoing account maintenance, in addition to new accounts. Focusing on advancing accounts including IRAs

+ Perform outbound calling to new and existing members

+ Assist in training as needed

+ Ability to maintain confidentiality to work with confidential accounts including employee accounts.

+ Perform Money Makeovers and Credit History Lessons resulting in the payoff of other lenders.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

**Youll Need:**

+ Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience.

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

+ Excellent computer skills

+ High Attention to detail and accuracy
