At Naveo, it's your journey.We are seeking a PART TIME (up to 32 hours) Member Service Representative to serve as a liaison between our members and the Credit Union. You'll be responsible for providing account information and managing the financial needs of our members in a professional, timely and warm manner, executing a variety of transaction services to members.Responsibilities and Duties•Perform member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, issuing money orders and official checks, and initiating wire transfers.•Respond to all inquiries and requests from members in person or via email/telephone, including deposit/loan account inquiries, ATM/Debit card and iBanking questions and requests.•Open new accounts for members including Savings, Checking, Certificates of Deposit (CD), and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA).•Cross sell and refer Credit Union products and services as outlined in the Sales Program.•Assist members with the consumer loan application and closing process. May be required to underwrite consumer loans as needed.•Balance ATM, Vault, Coinstream, cash recyclers, and other branch duties.•Comply with all State and Federal Regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and Reg E (Electronic Fund Transfers).•Attend training sessions and department meetings as needed.•Assist with the opening and closing of the Branch.•Must be able to work every Saturday (8:30 am - 1:00 pm)Qualifications•Bachelor's degree preferred.•Three (3) or more years of operations and banking experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and influence others.•Effective time management skills. Ability to exercise good judgment and ability to prioritize multiple demands.•Bilingual in Portuguese a plus!•Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.•Knowledge of Microsoft Office and OutlookCompensation- Target hourly wage: $18 - $22 per hour, in addition to other benefits.- Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.About Naveo Credit UnionOur team is made up of experienced and dedicated employees seeking to make an impact in the communities we serve by supporting our local economy, small businesses and community organizations.
