We are currently seeking a self-motivated, energetic individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess one year of experience in a credit union or similar financial institution. Possess strong knowledge of credit union products and services, eager to make an impact with a strong, professional work ethic. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: •Conduct all member account functions, including teller transactions, processing requests for new accounts and services, providing counseling, and cross-selling appropriate products or services to benefit the member and achieve established sales goals. Review all documentation for completeness and accuracy according to the organization's compliance guidelines. Ensures that the teller cashbox balances daily. Researches and resolves cashbox errors as necessary. •Assist with a wide variety of member services including regular account maintenance, Safe Deposit Box maintenance, assist members with account inquiries and reconciliation, manages outgoing wires, ACH transactions, and disputes, solve fraud issues, serve as notary public, close accounts, etc. •Exhibit strong, advanced knowledge of all Credit Union products and services. Actively promote and cross-sell additional products and services based on member needs that are obtained from member interviews. Commit to improving the financial life of each member you serve by asking open-ended questions to uncover additional needs. •Assist the branch in meeting or exceeding sales and service goals as established by the Credit Union. •Demonstrate enthusiastic support of core purpose, core values and long-term objectives. •Maintain positive working relationships with other departments. •Represent the Credit Union to members in a courteous and professional manner while providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service during all member interactions. This includes promoting PNCU to potential members during business development functions or on-sites. •Maintain a strong, advanced knowledge of all aspects of IRA's. •Maintain a strong, advanced knowledge of and be able to successfully originate and close all consumer loans. •Maintain a strong, advanced knowledge of legal aspects of deposit accounts including POA, Personal Representatives, etc. •Order the appropriate amounts and types of cash for the branch and maintain proper documentation of all currency received and disbursed. •Maintain overall control and accountability for all vault reconcilements including ATM, coin machine, TCR, and Main vault. Periodically audit branch vaults/safes as required by policy. •Provide in-person and telephone support in general and specific service-related information concerning credit union services and policies •Open and close the building in accordance with set hours and tests security equipment monthly. •Remain in compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, as well as credit union policies and procedures. •Responsible for compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, as well as credit union policies and procedures. •Responsible for completion of all required compliance training, as well as completion of ongoing compliance training which may be assigned throughout the year. Qualifications: •One year of similar or related experience in a credit union or similar financial institution. Related experience includes leadership of all the following: sales, mortgage origination, consumer lending origination, IRA, business development, commercial lending, and community relations. •Self-directed motivations, innovation, and accuracy within tasks assigned •Superior organizational and problem-solving skills •Strong leadership, supervisory and interpersonal skills •Results-oriented and able to prioritize multiple tasks •Strong interpersonal and communication skills •Proficiency in Microsoft Office •Excellent verbal and written communication skills •Strong attention to detail •Must successfully be able to register as an MLO through the NMLS Registry in order to originate Home Equity products.
