Job Summary Perform a wide range of transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with high accuracy. Maintain accurate transactional records. Provide a variety of member savings, share draft/checking, and credit account transactions, as well as member services such as sales of money orders and cashier's checks. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS •Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a professional manner. •Represent the credit union in a courteous and professional manner. •Process account transactions such as but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and processing of loan payments. •Comply with Federal regulations for the processing of holds on accounts. •Comply with BSA and CIP policy to ensure proper identification of members. •Issue Cashier's Checks, Money Orders, and Certificates upon member request. •Maintain accurate daily records to ensure proper maintenance of documents for auditing and exam purposes. •Maintain a balanced cash drawer. •Balance cash drawer daily to ensure physical cash counts match computer-generated counts. •Research and resolve any cash count discrepancies. •Report unresolved discrepancies to the supervisor immediately. •Maintain and Balance branch vault. •Count, verify, and package coins and currency to be sold or bought from the vault. •Cross-sell credit union products and services such as but not limited to auto loans, credit cards, and financial literacy. •Input loan applications. •Close member loans. •Ensure the teller station and teller line are properly stocked with paper products, brochures, forms, and supplies. •Complete branch supply inventory at the discretion of branch management. •Other duties as assigned by President/CEO or Executive Management. REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Customer Service Experience Preferred

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
