Job Description

The Member Services Staff is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all members, guests, and program participants of the Ferguson Family YMCA. This position will be responsible for greeting members, answering questions, and providing information about programs and services offered by the YMCA. The Member Services Staff will also be responsible for handling membership inquiries, processing membership applications, and maintaining accurate membership records.

Monday -Thursday 330-630 and every other Friday 330-9pm

Responsibilities

* Greet members, guests, and program participants in a friendly and professional manner

* Answer questions and provide information about programs and services offered by the YMCA

* Handle membership inquiries and process membership applications

* Maintain accurate membership records

* Assist with program registration and payment processing

* Assist with facility tours and orientations

* Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Excellent customer service skills

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Basic computer skills

* Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
