Description

OSDIA is a national organization with around 400 chapters and a rich 100+ year history, and we're looking for a proactive and organized Membership Coordinator to join our team at the National Office. This role will be central to driving our membership growth and ensuring we keep a strong connection with our Local and Grand Lodges, as well as our at-large members. The right person will help manage our membership programs, maintain strong communication, and make sure our internal systems are running smoothly.

This position will report to the National Executive Director, is in-office, and includes a comprehensive benefits package with health insurance, dental coverage, vacation/sick time, and matching retirement contribution. Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with Lodges: Work closely with Local Lodges to keep them updated on what's happening at the national level and ensure we're hearing their feedback.
  • Coordinate Webinars: Set up and manage webinars and other virtual events to keep members engaged and informed.
  • Membership Software: Help implement and manage our membership software, iMembersdb, becoming the go-to person for any issues and updates.
  • Best Practices: Collaborate with Local and Grand Lodges to develop and share membership recruitment and retention strategies.
  • New Lodge Formation: Identify new opportunities to form Filial Lodges and work with the National Membership Commission to oversee the entire process.
  • Billing Updates: Make sure at-large members and magazine subscribers are billed on time, and keep lodge info updated in all our databases and on the website.
  • Program Refresh: Assist in updating and rolling out the at-large member program, ensuring it stays relevant and valuable.
  • Member Benefits: Keep our Member Benefit Offerings current and ensure they're communicated clearly and frequently to all members.
  • Member Support: Be the first point of contact for member and lodge inquiries, responding quickly and thoroughly to any questions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management.
  • Great communication and organizational abilities.
  • A customer service mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and coordinate with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Some experience in a membership-focused role or non-profit is a plus but not required.

Compensation

$50,000 - $58,000 yearly
