Boys & Girls Clubs Membership CoordinatorResponsibilitiesCreate an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes, including:Promoting and stimulating program participationRegistering new members and participating in the Club orientation processProviding guidance and role modeling to membersAssists in delivering on organizational and Club specific goalsCollect membership dues and other monies related to program activitiesMake periodic reports about membership to other staffAnswering phone and taking messagesTracking meal and snack countsPrepare monthly snack menu and daily snackMembership Coordinator Functional CompetenciesAbility to deal effectively with multi-age childrenEffectively work in a team based environmentSupport Club Director in capturing member data in a timely manner that will be used for reporting and program improvementsEnsure a productive work environment by participating in weekly staff meetingsExercise authority in problem-solving relating to members; utilize guidance and discipline planRelationships:Internal: Maintains close, daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members, and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines/instructions; instruct; and advise/counsel.External: Maintain contact with external community groups, schools, members' parents and others as related to the program.Required QualificationsHS diploma or GED requiredKnowledge of computers and ability to work with technologyAbility to organize and supervise others while maintaining a safe environmentData Entry experienceMandatory CPR and First Aid CertificationsValid State Driver's LicenseAbility to pass a background check and physical examinationBilingual (Spanish and English) Helpful but not necessaryMembership Coordinator Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in business, finance or related fieldExperience working with childrenKnowledge of youth developmentAbility to motivate youth and manage behavior problemsStatusPart Time.
